The founder of Fine Point discovered her passion and skill for writing and editing while in graduate school. The Graduate School and International Programs department hired her as a proposal writer and she became the go-to person on significant grant proposals involving seasoned researchers from around the world. The founder discovered her ability to edit the writing of non-native English speakers and handle large-scale projects. Another passion and source of income while in graduate school was designing and coordinating innovative marketing projects. By the time she completed her doctorate in communication in 2009 she was already a seasoned writer, editor, and marketer. Since 2009, she has worked on numerous writing, editing, web content, and marketing projects. The published author formalized her passions and skills into a business in 2012.
